In Person Addiction Counseling Education Begins and Ends Here

Your new or enhanced career can begin with our next class offering.   ASAP Education is your one stop classroom to begin that new career in addiction counseling or to expand your current counseling practice.  On-site education occurs at our West Allis facility within our comfortable conference room with convenient afternoon classroom hours.  All of ASAP Education credentialed instructors actively work in the field of addiction counseling and teach from experience.

  • WI State picture ID (Our Course does not currently qualify for other States)
  • Advance purchase of all required Reading material
  • Payment of all course fees in advance

Getting Started

Instructor Contact

ASAP Education instructors are available throughout the day to receive and respond to email communications and voice messages during normal business hours.  Our instructors strive to connect the same day.  Students should expect in most cases, responses in less than 24 hours but influences such as time of submital, weekends, holidays, vacations may influence this.  Students may also schedule phone calls, or if needed commute to the physical instruction site for assistance.

Student Evaluation

Instructors will evaluate students by asking them to apply their skills acquired in class by applying them to real world situations in the field of addiction counseling affording them the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding and use of concepts taught.  Using performance-based assessment, standardized testing and projects will allow students to demonstrate their mastery of Intake skills, counseling, treatment planning, treatment implementation and professional readiness.

Student Absences

Students will be responsible for contacting and informing their instructor in advance of class absence and make up requirements. 

Students prior to class

Should complete all required readings and assignments.

All courses meet Wisconsin State Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) standards for licensure with your SAC-ITSAC or CSAC
